Monthly Meetings |
|
Join CIA Beer Judges for our Monthly Meetings. What is it? The monthly meetings are gatherings, organized by the regular attendees of CIA Beer Judge meetings, to provide an opportunity to engage in the appreciation of real beer and beer tasting and evaluation skills. We hope to offer a space where judges of all experience levels can assemble; expand their baseline knowledge of beer styles; facilitate a forum for feedback on judging skills; and provide a place to network with other judges and homebrewers. The result will be a strengthening of judging abilities for all who attend. Format: The formats of the meetings are formal and structured. At every meeting, we generally have one or two facilitators. The facilitators coordinate a technical topic and/or off-flavors discussion, judging examples, etc. At each meeting we typically profile a BJCP beer style, but may also focus on a brewing technique, ingredients, historical aspects of brewing, etc. This topic is up to the volunteer facilitator(s) to decide. Who attends CIA Beer Judge meetings? Where can you learn about the next meeting? From our website under "Schedule" or contact Ron Smith at Info@MarketWiseSolutions.com. Presenters: If you are interested in presenting/facilitating at a monthly meeting please contact Ron Smith at Info@MarketWiseSolutions.com. |
